Detailed explanation of the safety of grain conveyors

When the grain conveyor needs to be stopped due to power outage or other reasons during operation, it must be restarted after the load on the belt conveyor is cleared. Here are the safety precautions for it:

1. It is strictly prohibited to cross the belt. If it is necessary to cross over, a crossing platform must be set up;

2. When the belt is running, it is strictly prohibited to use hands or objects to knock, adjust the rollers, tidy up the sweeper, clean the roller area of the drum, and clean the funnel deposit. If it is necessary to handle it, the machine must be stopped and a dedicated person must be present to supervise. The system of stopping power supply and hanging tags must be strictly followed. Special reminder: when cleaning the funnel deposit, there must be one person outside to monitor. When the height exceeds 2 meters or the operation is inconvenient, the operator should fasten their safety belt.

When dismantling or installing a new belt, a special tool should be used to clamp one end of the belt and slowly loosen or lift it. When replacing a diagonal belt, it is strictly prohibited to stand at the bottom;

When maintenance requires lifting, strict adherence to high-altitude operation safety must be observed, and the safety and reliability of lifting equipment must be ensured;

5. When the maintenance is completed, personnel on and near the belt conveyor must ensure that they have all left before conducting a test run;

During the test drive, there should be a dedicated person to command and operate the grain conveyor;

7. All participants are required to wear labor protection equipment as required.

If any abnormal situation occurs during the trial run of the grain conveyor, it needs to be stopped for handling. After the handling is completed, it can be tested again. During the trial run, the ore feeding should be from less to more and evenly distributed. If there is deviation, a dedicated person needs to adjust and handle it.
