A diagonal flow fan, also known as a mixed flow fan, is a fan between an axial flow fan and a centrifugal fan. The impeller of the diagonal flow fan allows air to move both centrifugally and axially, and the movement of the air inside the casing mixes the two forms of motion: axial flow and centrifugal flow.

Principle

Design a mixed flow fan using the noon acceleration method and quasi three element flow theory, with a conical wheel structure, twisted wing blades, and a collector or curved muffler installed at the inlet.

Advantage

Its characteristics are high pressure, large air volume, high efficiency, compact structure, low noise, small size, and easy installation.

Characteristic

A diagonal flow (mixed flow) fan has a higher wind pressure coefficient than an axial flow fan and a higher flow coefficient than a centrifugal fan. Added a gap between axial flow fans and centrifugal fans. Simultaneously possessing the characteristics of simple and convenient installation. The mixed flow fan (or axial thrust fan) combines the characteristics of axial flow fan and centrifugal fan, although it looks more like a traditional axial flow fan.

Application scope

Widely used in the ventilation, pipeline pressurized air supply, and ventilation places of civil buildings such as hotels, hotels, department stores, office buildings, and sports halls, as well as in industrial and mining enterprises.

Structure characteristics

A diagonal fan is mainly composed of an impeller, a casing, an inlet current collector, an outlet guide vane, a motor, and other components.

The manufacturer of the diagonal flow fan adopts a cylindrical three-stage flange connection to form a whole. The outlet is connected to the pipe network along the airflow, and the inlet is made of a sword shaped streamlined collection fan with a built-in sound-absorbing board to form a whole structure. The outlet is equipped with a guide vane to ensure good airflow distribution and stable pressure holding.

Purpose

The diagonal flow fan can be used for general ventilation and air exchange under the following conditions:

1. Applicable locations: Ventilation and air exchange facilities in general factories and buildings. These facilities can be used as both input gas and exhaust gas.

2. The type of gas transported: non combustible gases such as air, harmless to steel, and non corrosive gases.

3. Impurities in gas: There must be no viscous substances in the gas. The dust and hard particles contained shall not exceed 150mg/m3.

4. According to the special needs of users, a magnetic motor drive can be designed to achieve a structure with infinite variable speed and variable air volume.

5. Gas temperature: not exceeding 80 ℃.
